Brian is a young adult and self-advocate with Down syndrome who works for members of the Massachusetts legislature. In addition to receiving his high school diploma and completing coursework at MassBay Community College, Brian has successfully advocated in front of the Massachusetts legislature as a Youth Fellow with Massachusetts Advocates for Children to pass a bill to improve transition services for young adults with disabilities. Brian has also presented at Harvard University, Boston University, Brandeis University and numerous elementary schools on such topics as transitioning from school to work, his life and community inclusion.
